The Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) is the professional body that helps housing professionals create a future in which everyone has a place to call home.

Our role as a professional housing body has never been more vital and you will play a crucial role in advancing our political and public affairs function, increasing our visibility in Westminster and making the CIH the main voice of housing sector. You will work with colleagues across the company to develop a cohesive and deliverable public affairs strategy that will allow us to maximize our influence with national and local governments, government agencies and key stakeholders.

We are looking for a highly qualified speaker who can clearly articulate our position on a range of key issues across the housing industry. You will be excited about the opportunity to represent the CIH on all media channels, in meetings with government ministers and on public platforms.

You will have the pleasure of managing a highly skilled and experienced team of policy professionals whose knowledge spans the entire housing industry. A big part of that role is joining the dots – ordering and then using high-quality political work to underpin our public affairs.
